How to Pre-order PS5 Access Controller
The Access Controller will be live worldwide on December 6, 2023. But starting later this month, on July 21, you can pre-order one through PlayStation Direct or certain shops in the:

PS5 Access Controller features
The upcoming device from PlayStation has swappable buttons and stick caps, adjustable stick length, and four industry-standard 3.5mm expansion ports, among other qualities that the controller has.
Swappable Button and Stick Caps
One of the most notable features of the PS5 Access Controller is the ability to swap buttons and stick caps.
- This feature allows you to edit the button layout to suit your range of mobility and switch between the stick caps to find the shape and texture that works best for you.
- The controller has eight pillow button caps attached to it, four flat button caps, four curve button caps, two overhang button caps, and one wide flat button cap.
Adjustable Stick Length
Another important feature of the PS5 Access Controller is it allows you to customize and adjust the stick length.
- You can extend or shorten the control stick’s extension arm and lock it down at your ideal length for a more comfortable gaming experience.
Built for Easy Access
The PS5 Access Controller is built for easy access, allowing you to place the controller wherever you find most comfortable.
- The controller is designed to work from any 360° orientation, on different flat surfaces, a wheelchair tray, or attached to an AMPS pattern mount.
- AMPS is an industry-standard mounting screw pattern for connecting devices to equipment, including accessibility.
Expandable Inputs
The PS5 Access Controller has expandable inputs that allow you to join forces with other controllers.
- You can use up to two Access controllers together as a single virtual controller.
- Combine one or two Access controllers with a DualSense or DualSense Edge wireless controller to add elements like haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, motion sensor, and touchpad swipe.
Custom Profiles
The PS5 Access Controller allows you to create and edit up to 30 individual control profiles from your PS5 console settings.
- You can store three profiles on the Access controller and quickly switch between them with a dedicated button.
- This feature enables you to use the most appropriate control layout and button functions for what’s happening in-game.
Configurable Buttons
You can map button inputs on the PS5 Access Controller so that the commands you need are precisely where you want them.
- You can set button presses to toggle commands on/off, serve as a single-press input, or disable buttons to avoid using them by accident.
- You can even map two commands to a single button for more user-friendly play.
