PS5 June 11 event will be streamed at 1080p and 30FPS but the videos will be available in 4K
Sony has announced that the PS5 games reveal event is now set to take place on June 11.
Announced via the PlayStation Blog, they also confirmed that the “pre-taped” footage will be streamed at 1080p and 30 fps to ease off the production process as most of the staff is now working from home.
This caused a bit of disappointment among the fans as watching next-generation games with the limitations of this generation isn’t actually a good first impression.
However, Sony’s Sidh Shuman later confirmed that most of the trailers that will be showcased during the stream will be available later on Youtube in 4K.
