At the end of June, the PS Plus July 2022 free games will go on sale, and users will also get access to three extra games. For subscribers, this will probably be split between PS4 games and PS5 games. And because the month is almost through, the wait won’t be too long.
Some PlayStation Plus subscribers have high expectations for the July 2022 free games after recalling what was provided during the same period last year.
PlayStation Plus Free Games – July 2022
Users of PlayStation Plus are generally aware that Sony will announce the upcoming free PS Plus games on the last Wednesday of the month, and that they will include one PS5 title and two PS4 games. There are some clear PS Plus trends when comparing one month to the next, but some trends also show up when comparing the current free PS Plus titles to previous years’ deals.
With its service, Sony has consistently provided PS5 games that are truly exceptional. We also don’t believe Sony will give any of the two major releases on July 1 away for free. Instead, we believe Sony will focus on the backlog of PS5 games that were released last year but may not have received the proper attention.
PS PLUS, JULY 2022 – FREE GAMES

Three new titles will be available to PS Plus for owners of both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 starting next month, according to a recent report from Dealabs.

Additionally, as Sony redesigned the program just a few weeks ago, the free games for PlayStation Plus in July 2022 will be the first ones offered. These three games are ones that will be accessible to everyone who is a subscriber to the platform, despite the fact that PS Plus now has three distinct tiers altogether.
These monthly games will still be accessible at the base level of the service, known as PS Plus Essential, even though users of PS Plus Premium and Extra can access additional PlayStation games from the past. You will still be able to download these games in the future weeks if you haven’t changed your subscription since Sony made all of these PS Plus changes.
PS PLUS ESSENTIAL SUBSCRIPTION
The base PS Plus subscription service, which offers gamers access to a few free titles each month, has a new name: PlayStation Plus Essential. As long as you continue to pay for PlayStation Plus Essential, you can continue to play these titles even when you are no longer eligible for a claim at the end of the month or a higher tier.
You won’t be able to play these games after your subscription expires unless you renew. Up until July 4, you can still claim the PlayStation Plus games from June. These are Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, God of War (2018), and Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
