Survivor Season 45 has already started! The show has returned with its landmark 45th season, marking its 23rd year on the air this year. The show’s host, Jeff Probst, has now welcomed a new group of castaways to the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji, promising something different is about to happen with the big surprise that’s about to come. Survivor Season 45 features 17 new contestants and a returning player to compete for a million-dollar cash prize that will go to the Sole Survivor. Bruce Perrault has also returned to have another chance in the game after being unable to finish the previous season due to a medical emergency.

Survivor Season 45: Episode Guide
So far, Survivor Season 45 has dropped its first two episodes, We Can Do Hard Things and Brought a Bazooka to a Tea Party. The first episode saw Hanna leaving the game after deciding to quit and getting the blessings of her tribemates. Belo and Reba won immunity, while Emily voted for Kaleb to be out due to his alliance with Sabiyah. However, if there’s one person the tribe wants out, it’s Emily.
The second episode, alternatively, saw Brandon being sent home unanimously at the Tribal Council. Sabiyah still wanted Emily to go, but Kaleb and Sean had successfully influenced the tribe to oust Brandon.
So far, there are no words on how many episodes Survivor Season 45 would be, though the series usually has 13 episodes to complete a season. As the show airs weekly, with the premiere episode releasing on September 27, it may last until December 2023.

Survivor Season 45 can be seen on CBS every Wednesday at 8 PM EST. It’s also available on different streaming services, like Fubo TV, DirecTV Stream, and Paramount+, which all offer free trials. However, after the trial period ends, users must pay $74.99/month each for FuboTV and DirecTV Stream, $5.99/month for ad-supported, and $11.99/month for ad-free for Paramount+.

Is Survivor Still Worth Watching?
Sure, Survivor has been on the air for more than 20 years, but fans are still drawn to this reality TV series. Many still find it the best show on TV, thanks to its great format, exciting games, and castaways that keep the viewers coming back for more. In fact, with its success, it has already become one of the best series of all time.
It has also spawned a media franchise, inspiring video games, soundtracks, and even a thrill ride. Well, the series won’t last for a couple of decades for nothing.
