The Last of Us Part II Gets A New Release Date; This Time, It’s Final
Two delays, tonnes of leaks, extended crunch periods, increased employees’ frustration levels and major spoilers later, Sony has announced the new and final (hopefully) release date for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II. The Last of Us Part II gets a new release date, and it’s arriving on June 19.
Announcing it on PlayStation Blog, Hermen Hulst, Head of Worldwide Studios, SIE, wrote, “As our teams at Sony Interactive Entertainment and Worldwide Studios approach development milestones and confront a world changed by COVID-19, we find ourselves having to adapt to today’s ever-changing environment. Amidst some disruptions to our working styles, we wanted to provide an update to PlayStation gamers who are eager to learn when our next exclusive titles will arrive to PlayStation 4.”
Sony is seeing an ease in the global distribution environment, and hence, has decided to release The Last of Us Part II on June 19. Along with The Last of Us Part II news, Hermen wrote about Ghost of Tsushima.
As many speculated and foresaw, Ghost of Tsushima is indeed getting delayed. Learn more about the delay by clicking here.
