The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Nintendo Switch Release Date

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is considered by some to be the best Zelda game ever. While not everyone is prepared to go that far, it is still a masterfully created game that deserves its high Metacritic score of 90+ percent. The game’s great gameplay and fantastic emotional storytelling have been positive with critics and players alike.

It was almost certain that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask would eventually make its way to the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo has revealed that Majora’s Mask will be available on Nintendo Switch Online in February.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is a straight successor to Ocarina of Time for those unfamiliar with the game. While some of the game’s elements are from Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask significantly alters some events.

The link will be in a new world- Termina, where a looming moon threatens to fall into the planet and destroy it in just three days.

To save Termina, Link must don a pair of masks that let him transform into a Deku, a Zora, and a Goron. This three have their own set of talents and powers. Majora’s Mask has a devoted following thanks to its darker tone, which sets it distinct from other Zelda games.

Majora’s Mask will only be available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers who purchased the Expansion Pack, like with prior N64 releases.

• Sign up for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack if you want to play Majora’s Mask on the Switch.
• Regular Online customers will have to pay an extra fee to upgrade their membership. For $49.99, new customers may get a year of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
• The introduction of Majora’s Mask is unquestionably good news for current Expansion pack owners.
