The Yakuza Remastered Collection comes to Playstation 4
The announcements keep coming at Gamescom 2019 as it has been revealed that The Yakuza Remastered Collection is now on Playstation store for the first time in the West.
The Yakuza Remastered Collection includes Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5.
Yakuza 3 is available right now with a digital purchase of the collection on the PlayStation Store.
Earlier this week we revealed that it looked like a Yakuza 3 remaster was set to come to PS4 in the West for the first time.
At one point, on a Gamescom itinerary published by German games network Rocket Beans, the schedule had a spot for Yakuza 3 on Wednesday, which has since been removed.
The Yakuza 3 announcement, which has long been mooted for a PS4 remaster release in the West, was spotted by ResetEra forum members, who managed to grab a screenshot of the schedule before it was updated.
Yakuza 4 releases on October 29, with Yakuza 5 following on February 11, 2020. These games will automatically unlock on these dates for all digital purchases of The Yakuza Remastered Collection.
A very limited physical run of The Yakuza Remastered Collection: Day One Edition, detailed below, will also be available on February 11, 2020.
