TWICE Ready To Be Bulacan: Will Staff selling MINA DOLLAR be terminated? | Fans React

Did you attend the TWICE Ready To Be Bulacan? The K-pop girl group recently held its two-day concert in the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on September 30 and October 1 for their fifth world tour READY TO BE. After four years, the group reunited with their Filipino ONCEs following their 2019 world tour TWICELIGHTS in Mall of Asia Arena. As part of one of the most expected events, fans were waiting to have a hand on the Mina Dollar, but one concertgoer complained that Live Nation Philippines’s staff started selling this bill instead of giving it to fans. So, will this staff be terminated?

TWICE Ready To Be Bulacan

TWICE Ready To Be Bulacan concert was a huge success. The group managed to fill the largest arena in the world with their legion of fans on the first and second nights. Of course, many celebrated seeing Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Tzuyu performing live once again. Sadly, Chaeyoung didn’t attend the event due to health issues.

It wasn’t the first time that TWICE visited the Philippines. And just like the first time, fans went wild as they performed their number-one hits. They even trended on X (formerly Twitter) with the number of posts the excited ONCEs made, giving them unforgettable experiences one more time.

However, things worsened when the supposed happy experience turned into disgust. The fan page THINK ABOUT TWICE shared a post by user sharon mirna, posting photos of the concert’s staff and maintenance selling Mina Dollars from the solo stage for Php500, or about $9. The staff wasn’t even contented and allegedly ended up haggling the price with the poor fans, turning it into a bidding session.

Will the Staff selling MINA DOLLAR at TWICE Ready To Be Bulacan Concert be Terminated?

To address the issue, Live Nation Philippines released an official statement stating it was aware of the unfortunate event during the TWICE READY TO BE Bulacan concert on September 30. The company ensued an investigation and learned that the in-ground staff involved in the controversy was from a “third-party commissioned crew.”

This crew would be undergoing disciplinary action from his company’s HR. Hence, the guy wouldn’t be terminated immediately and would only face sanctions like he should. Sure, the turn of events angered a lot of fans, and many wanted the offender to come to terms with what he did.

However, instead of quickly terminating him, leaving him with no job in an instant, it’s maybe much better that he gets a sanction first to correct his mistakes. If he does it again, it may be the right time to terminate him to face the consequences of his repeated errors.

Fans React to Staff Selling MINA DOLLAR at TWICE Concert

As expected, many Filipino ONCEs have shared their reactions to the staff selling Mina Dollars at TWICE’s recent concert in Bulacan. Some even tagged Live Nation Philippines to show what their team did during the event.

“The Philippines is so embarrassing,” one Facebook user commented after seeing the post. Others were not even surprised at all, saying, “Welcome to the Philippines.” Another netizen can’t help but compare the country to Berlin, claiming she got a Mina Dollar for free in Berlin. The bill even came from the staff and guards themselves.

As this seems to give a bad image to the country and its people, many hope it will never happen again.
