Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection PS5 Release Date Could February 2022

As you may know, Uncharted is an action-adventure game series, developed by Naughty Dog. It is a highly acclaimed and popular video game series that has won several accolades including many Game of the Year Awards. It’s also getting a cinema adaptation that features Tom Holland in the lead (Nathan Drake) and will release in February 2022. Now it seems like the movie won’t be the only thing that will release around that time.

Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy Remaster Release

According to VGC, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection has made its debut in the Australian age rating agency. This means that now the remaster collection for PS5 is not that far away. The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection includes Uncharted 4: The Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Remasters for PS5.

Fans have been eagerly waiting to experience the two games on their next-gen console for some time now. It appears that now the days they have to wait for it are numbered. The official updates maintain that the collection will arrive sometime in early 2022. If our guess is right and what we’ve heard is true, we might see a February 2022 release near the movie release.

With this particular rating agency, we have observed that games it rates are released about 3 months later. The same happened with Microsoft games like Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. Following that pattern, rating in November 2021, paves the way for the remaster collection’s release in February 2022.

What’s New?

You might be wondering what exactly would be new in this remastered collection of Uncharted. Well first of all you’ll be able to play the final two installments of the series on your next-gen console. Apart from that Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection will feature:

• enhanced graphics to provide an immersive and realistic experience,
• a higher frame rate so that your suspension of disbelief doesn’t break, and
• an astounding degree of detail to immerse you even further in the world of Uncharted.

Nothing else has been revealed as of now but some other typical remaster upgrades can be expected. These include widescreen monitors compatibility and enhanced resolutions. One thing is for sure, with the movie and next-gen upgrade coming in, 2022 is going to be a great year for Uncharted fans.
