Fortnite has released over a thousand skins since its launch and despite the number of skins available in the game, it still isn’t enough. With the new season bringing us to an all-new map, there are bound to be new outfits available for players as well. If the Deku or Hulk skins aren’t your style, then maybe you can check out the upcoming Fortnite skins possibly releasing this December 2022 or on January 2023. Stay with us to know more about them!
Upcoming Fortnite Skins
Epic Games has announced a lot of upcoming skins in Fortnite for the months of December and January next year. Some of the outfits included in this article are coming from data miners, so there are no official release dates for these skins yet. Nonetheless, you’ll want to go over these skins in Fortnite so you can know how to spend your V-Bucks properly.
Here are all the upcoming skins in Fortnite:
December 2022 release dates
There are plenty of new skins available in Fortnite right now. Over the past weeks, skins like the My Hero Academia collab, the Hulk, and even the free holiday skins are available for players looking to battle in style. Right now, there’s only one skin that’s expected to arrive before December ends.
Snowdancer outfit
The Snowdancer outfit will soon be available in the Fortnite Item Shop. Since it is Christmas-themed, we can expect this outfit to be available before the holiday season wraps up.
This outfit was also spotted in the trailer for the latest Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, but Epic Games has yet to release any information for a final release date. Nonetheless, the Snowdancer skin in Fortnite will most likely cost you around 1,200 V-Bucks if you want to get it.
January 2023 release dates
As for new Fortnite skins coming in January 2023, only one has been confirmed. This skin is one of the most anticipated outfits arriving in Fortnite soon as it features an iconic character from a video game/television series.
Geralt of Rivia
Geralt is making his arrival soon in Fortnite. The community was hyped when they first spotted The Witcher in the trailer. Unfortunately, you need to wait a few more weeks until Geralt becomes available in the game.
Geralt is part of the Battle Pass in Fortnite, so make sure to purchase the pass if you want this outfit. You need to complete special quests once Geralt becomes available in order to obtain him. Aside from his outfit, there are other cosmetics obtainable through the special Geralt quests. These other cosmetics include a special emote and a new Harvesting Tool.
Skins with no release dates
According to Fortnite.GG, there are five more skins coming to the game soon. Unfortunately, some of these outfits have been leaked a few months ago but until now, they aren’t available in the game. Check out the skins below and see what tickles your fancy!
Hana
Fortnite data miners like iFireMonkey are starting to post more and more about this skin. Hana is part of the Downhill Demon Set which is still unreleased. What makes this skin a must-have for Fortnite players is the amount of customization you can do.
Graveheart
Graveheart is part of the current season of Fortnite. However, there is no release date yet for this skin. It’s part of the Memento Mori set which will be available on the Item Shop soon!
Keleritas
Another skin introduced this season is Keleritas. Similar to Graveheart, this outfit will be part of another bundle in the Fortnite Item Shop. As of writing, there is no official release date yet for when it will become available in the game.
Brilliant Bomber
The Brilliant Bomber skin in Fortnite is most likely scrapped at this point. However, a lot of players were looking forward to her release in the game, so Epic Games may consider officially releasing her by next year.
Gemini
The Gemini skin in Fortnite has been scrapped due to its similarities with a character from Paladins. To avoid getting into any issues with the team over at Paladins, the Gemini skin wasn’t released. That doesn’t mean players don’t want the Gemini skin in the game, so hopefully, Epic Games will reconsider and add a few more distinguishing characteristics to this outfit.
