Valorant Reportedly Made $18+ Million From Skins

The 2021 Valorant Champions skins earned Riot Games over $18.7 million USD while it was available from the in-game store. The Champions Collection featured only two skins for the Vandal and the karambit, and was priced at 6260 Valorant Points.

The Champions Collection ran from November 24 to December 12, going live the same time as the first VCT. One unique trait of the weapon skins was the glowing effect it had for top fraggers of matches. It also played the official song for VCT 2021, Die For You, when inspected or used to deal a finishing blow to an enemy.

Riot Games included a disclaimer in the Champions bundle’s description about distributing the revenue with the players. Given that they earned over $18.7 million USD, each team will be splitting $585,000 USD from their $9.35 million USD share.
