Costa Titch was the rising sensation of South Africa’s amapiano music scene. It is a style of music that is known for its deep house, log-drum-driven bass, and soulful piano melodies. His style combined his roots in African music with international rap styles. He added his culture, style, and indigenous language to trap music originating from Atlanta’s hip-hop scene.
The artist was born in Nelspruit in northeastern South Africa and already had a successful career in dance before he started pursuing his ambition of becoming a rapper.
Costa Titch’s song Big Flexa helped him to stardom across Africa following its success on TikTok. He had recently partnered with a music label established by Senegalese-American musician Akon, who featured on a remix of Big Flexa.
