Why Did Quavo Diss Chris Brown as the ‘Crackhead Michael Jackson’?

Rappers frequently trade disses and clapbacks, and Quavo and Chris Brown’s most recent rivalry is no different. It all began when Chris Brown launched some hard punches at Quavo in his “Weakest Link” song over the weekend.

Not one to back down, Quavo swiftly fired back with his own diss track titled “Over H*es & B*tches.” Quavo didn’t hold back in this hard-hitting response, calling out Chris Brown with some sharp and personal jabs.

The ‘Crackhead Michael Jackson’ Reference

One of the most controversial lyrics of Quavo’s diss track was his comparison of Chris Brown to the “crackhead Michael Jackson.” It’s important to remember a memorable occasion in Brown’s history when he honored Michael Jackson, the King of Pop. Brown delivered a memorable tribute to MJ fourteen years ago during the 2008 BET Awards.

Why Mention Takeoff?

Quavo didn’t think twice to include Takeoff, his late bandmate, in the diss track. Most likely, Chris Brown made a reference to Takeoff in “Weakest Link,” where he seemed to be making fun of Quavo.

Chris Brown swiftly responded to Quavo’s diss on his Instagram Stories and even said, “Takeoff rap[s] better.” However, the rap community, including 50 Cent, seemed to like the beef between Chris Brown and Quavo, anticipating the continuation of their fiery exchange.
