Windows 11 Release Date Revealed; October 5
Windows 11 release date is finally here and the new operating system is releasing on October 5, 2021. For eligible Windows 10 PCs, Windows 11 will be a free upgrade.
Microsoft released Windows 10 back in 2015, and five years later, we’ll finally have Windows 11. Starting October 5th, users will see an upgrade option to Windows 11, but in phases.
Aaron Woodman of Microsoft says, “Following the tremendous learning from Windows 10, we want to make sure we’re providing you the best possible experience. We expect all eligible devices to be offered the free upgrade to Windows 11 by mid-2022.”
In 2022, Windows 11 users will also be able to run Android apps on their PCs natively, without having to use external emulators such as Bluestacks. For gamers, especially those who love to record mobile games on bigger screens, it’d be an amazing experience.
The minimum system requirements for Windows 11 are:
- 64-bit 1GHz processor
- 4GB Ram
- 64GB disk space
