The iconic action duo’s reunion comes at a time when his health has been constantly deteriorating after his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. The Die Hard star celebrated his 68th birthday today in a private gathering with close friends and family.
It’s clear that Bruce Willis’ co-stars have not given up on him at all as they are all trying their best to help him in this medical condition. In that effort, Willis’ ex-wife Demi Moore has taken the initiative to host movie nights featuring his filmography. Co-stars like Schwarzenegger and Stallone will join him on these movie nights. Through this, they hope to revive Bruce Willis’ fading memory, which is a result of dementia.

According to insider reports, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are now at the front of the line “willing to do anything they can, 24/7” to help Bruce Willis. Demi Moore has called them in, alongside other stars like Jason Statham, in an attempt to spark Bruce Willis’ memory.
They believe that reliving these experiences with his co-stars will keep the Pulp Fiction actor’s memory sharp. Dementia is mostly an incurable condition but Bruce Willis’ friends and family are ready to do everything they can to preserve his mind.
Other actors joining this effort to help Bruce Willis’s battle against dementia include his Moonlighting co-star Cybill Shepherd and Die Hard co-star Bonnie Bedelia.
Bruce Willis’ diagnosis and retirement from acting
The 68-year-old star announced his retirement from acting in 2022 after he was first diagnosed with aphasia. This condition affects communication abilities and it’s usually an early symptom of dementia.
Despite his family doing their best, they announced that he was formally diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia last month in February. The condition has no medical treatment.
Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming has been actively supporting her husband in his fight against dementia. She has been very vocal on social media about his condition and has received appreciation for raising awareness.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis first worked together on the 2010 action film The Expendables, in which they played members of a team of elite mercenaries. Sylvester Stallone also starred in the film and was the writer and director.
The three actors reportedly bonded on set, with Schwarzenegger and Willis in particular sharing stories and jokes during breaks in filming. Schwarzenegger, Stallone, and Willis have been synonymous with humongous Hollywood action blockbusters for many decades now.
