Assassins Creed Valhalla Will Have Instakill Hidden Blade
Assassins Creed Valhalla was announced by Ubisoft a few weeks ago. Ubisoft did take a break from releasing Assassin Creed games annually after Odyssey faced severe backlash from the community. The game was very long and overstuffed, with people having to grind unnecessarily to finish it.
In the latest title, however, Ubisoft aims to fix those issues. One of the prime complaints of players with Odyssey was the absence of the Hidden Blades. However, the Hidden Blades are making a comeback in the latest iteration. Not only that, instakills are also coming back.
Ashraf Ismail, creative director of Assassins Creed Valhalla said in an interview with Kotaku, “Eivor receives the hidden blade quite early on. We continue with the idea that Eivor is not a trained assassin. Eivor is a Viking who receives this badass weapon and has to learn very quickly. Early in the experience, Eivor will learn a technique that, with the right timing … can one-shot-kill virtually anybody.”
This is something fans will be more than happy to know. While Eivor might not be a full-fledged assassin, Ubisoft’s inclination towards the roots of the franchise can surely turn things around for them.
