Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 9 delayed by a week: When will it come out?

In Bleach TYBW Part 2, everything has taken quite an interesting turn with Ichigo’s return to the Soul Society. The exhibition of Ichigo’s strength against the female SternRitters was a flex through and through. All the Soul Reapers who once stood against Ichigo in some way or another, standing together to let him through was a perfect Shonen anime moment. The music complemented the thrills that ensued in the Soul Society.  

In this cour of Bleach TYBW, since episode 1 we have been getting previews and post-credit scenes. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case in the most recent episode. There was no preview and even the title of the upcoming episode was not revealed. The reason behind the missing preview is the delayed release of Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 9. We will not be getting a new episode this Saturday, but a recap episode instead.

Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 9 will be released on Saturday, September 9th. The episode will come out in different regions around the listed times: 

• Japan Standard Time: Saturday, September 9th at 11:00 pm 
• Eastern Daylight Time: Saturday, September 9th at 10:00 am
• Pacific Daylight Time: Saturday, September 9th at 7:00 am
• Central Daylight Time: Saturday, September 9th at 9:00 am
• British Summer Time: Saturday, September 9th at 3:00 pm
• Indian Standard Time: Saturday, September 9th at 7:30 pm
• Australian Central Daylight Time: Sunday, September 10th at 12:30 am

TV Tokyo is the official network for Bleach TYBW Part 2 in Japan. As for international fans in the US and outside of Asia, Hulu and Disney Plus streams the new episode soon after they come out. For other regions, Netflix has also made the entirety of Bleach available along with the new episodes of Bleach TYBW Part 2.

Bleach TYBW Part 2 Episode 8 was titled “The Headless Star”. The episode started with glimpses from Yhwach’s flashback. The stage that Gremmy built collapses in front of Zaraki. He senses that Yachiru is nowhere to be seen.

Her shihakusho and Soul Reaper badge were also lying on the ground. The female SternRitters arrive on the scene and after exchanging a few blows with Zaraki, Candice inflicts a severe wound making him end up on the ground. He wonders if it’s his end.  

Rukia and Byakuya sense Ichigo’s spiritual pressure and look up at the Seireitei. He fights the female SternRitters one after the other, overpowering them to the point that they get frustrated with him. In the hidden laboratory, it is revealed that the gate to the Royal Palace will remain open for the next 6000 seconds. Shunsui deduces that getting to the Soul King’s Palace has been Yhwach’s plan all along.

Ichigo tries to head over to Yhwach only to be stopped by the SternRitters who fought the captains previously. Renji along with other Soul Reapers arrive to keep the SternRitters at bay so that Ichigo can reach Yhwach. When Ichigo reaches there, he realizes that Uryu is siding with Yhwach. This takes him off-guard. Uryu attacks Ichigo, Chad and Orihime arrive at the Soul Society and shield Ichigo from the attack.

Episode 8 ended on a cliffhanger. Ichigo finds out about Uryu’s betrayal and Yhwach is headed to the Soul King’s Palace with Haschwalth. On the other hand, Aizen is up to something as well. There’s so much to look forward to. Chad and Orihime have returned to Soul Society as well. The upcoming battle is going to be an emotional experience for Ichigo and maybe for us too.
