Yes, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 is Daniel Padilla’s sports car. The luxury car was offered to a Filipino social media star, Jayson Luzadas, popularly known as Boss Toyo, for PHP 6 million. According to Boss Toyo’s YouTube vlog, a car dealer offered to sell the orange sports car, along with the papers that indicate it is indeed in Daniel Padilla’s ownership.
To clear things up, it wasn’t Padilla who added the sports car up for sale on the marketplace. The dealer shared that the Corvette Stingray was bought around 2016, but recently, Padilla decided to sell it. Boss Toyo asked why the actor wished to sell his car, to which the dealer did not have any concrete answers but said, “Siguro boss, sawa na, retired na… pero ’yan ang kauna-unahang nabili niya.” [Maybe he got tired of it and retired already… but that’s the first one he bought.]
The dealer also shared that the sports car was sold to Padilla’s friend, who asked them to find another buyer. Initially, the car was priced at PHP 6.5 million, but Boss Toyo tried to haggle for the last price of PHP 5.8 million. The dealer said that they cannot price it at lower than PHP 6 million because of its “market value.” As of this writing, the sports car is also up for sale under the F2A and Garage888ph Facebook pages.
