Far Cry 6 will feature “exotic” location; Reveal coming July 12
The next entry in Ubisoft’s open world shooter Far Cry may be revealed sooner than we expect according to a new report. It’s also rumoured to feature a more exotic location than it’s last venture, which was based on real life Montana.
According to gamereactor.dk, Far Cry 6 is set to be revealed on July 12. Far Cry 6 is the last of the Ubisoft title to be released before April 2021, of course if COVID-19 hasn’t intervened the release schedule.
Ubisoft is also set to release Watch Dogs: Legion, Gods & Monsters, Rainbow Six Siege: Quarantine and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla before Far Cry 6. Given that none of these games have released yet, a delay is likely inbound for the next Far Cry as well.
Ubisoft is hosting it’s digital event later this July called UbiForward. It’s very likely we will hear or see more about this alleged Far Cry 6 there.
