We are now heading into Phase II of Genshin Impact 2.7. In the next phase, we’ll be introduced to a new character as well as new events. Read on to find out more about Genshin Impact 2.7 Phase II featuring Itto’s re-run.
When is Genshin Impact 2.7 Phase II launching?
Phase II will release on June 21. From June 21, the banners will be available until July 12. So when we enter this phase for Version 2.7, Travelers can finally pull for Arataki Itto. The 4-star characters joining Itto in his banner are Gorou, Chongyun, and Kuki Shinobu.
Moreover, this phase marks Kuki Shinobu’s debut in Genshin Impact. She is a 4-star Electro character which many Travelers want to pull for after it was revealed that she is also a healer. This makes her the first Electro healer character in Genshin Impact.
For Travelers undecided on who to pull for in this update, the test run event allows you to get a hands-on experience for the featured characters in the Wish banner.

Weapon Banner
For the weapon banner in Phase II of Version 2.7, it features Arataki Itto’s BiS claymore, the Redhorn Stonethresher. Additionally, Travelers can pull for the Memory of Dust catalyst weapon from the banner.
As for the 4-star weapons getting boosted drop rates, they are as follows:
- Lithic Blade (Claymore)
- Lion’s Roar (Sword)
- Dragon’s Bane (Polearm)
- Sacrifical Fragments (Catalyst)
- The Stringless (Bow)
New events coming in the next phase of Genshin Impact
New Hangout Event
After Kuki becomes available, Travelers can also play through her hangout event. Similar to other hangout events, Travelers need a story key to unlock it. Moreover, Kuki’s hangout event requires you to finish Itto’s story quest and the Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act II first.
Here are all the requirements needed before Travelers can start Kuki Shinobu’s hangout event:
- AR 40 or above
- Complete Arataki Itto’s Story Quest “Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act I – Rise Up, Golden Soul”
- Complete Archon Quest Interlude Chapter: Act II – “Perilous Trail”
A Muddy Bizarre Adventure
This new event launches on June 22, 10:00 AM server time. It ends on July 4, 03:59 AM server time.
For this event, Travelers will go into The Chasm and clean up the mines to help a researcher from Sumeru resolve the crisis growing in the depths of The Chasm.
Here are the requirements to unlock this event:
- AR 28 or above
- Complete “Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering” World Quest in The Chasm
- Lumenstone Adjuvant must be at least Level 2

Core of the Apparatus
For the next event, it is available from June 29, 10:00 AM server time and finishes on July 7, 03:59 AM server time.
In Core of the Apparatus, Travelers help a toymaker from Fontaine gather materials and build test products in exchange for vouchers. These vouchers can be used to obtain robotic furnishings which can be placed in your Serenitea Pot.
To take part in this event, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- AR 30 or above
- Complete the “Ritou Escape Plan” which is one of the subquests in the Archon Quest: “Chapter II, Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia”
- Complete the World Quest “Chisato’s Letter”
There will also be a “Ley Line Overflow” event during the second half of Genshin Impact 2.7. Through this event, Travelers consume Original Resin and receive double the rewards when completing a Blossom of Wealth or Blossom of Revelation.
