How can I sign up for Honkai: Star Rail?
Following the massive success of Genshin Impact and other IPs from HoYoverse (MiHoYo), they are gearing up to release Honkai: Star Rail. Unlike Genshin, Honkai: Star Rail will be based in space and it will be another roleplaying game. The devs have already hosted numerous beta tests, but they usually ran for a limited time only. With creases seemingly ironed out, HoYoverse (MiHoYo) is finally allowing more and more players to see what Honkai: Star Rail is all about. For those of you who missed out on the previous closed beta tests, now is your chance to experience the upcoming RPG from HoYoverse.
- Honkai: Star Rail is entering its final beta test and you can sign up for a limited time only. Beta testing begins on February 10, 2023, but registration is open now. The forms are open from January 24, 2023, until February 2, 2023. There are no other ways to sign up other than proceeding to the game’s official website and registering there.
- The final beta test for Honkai: Star Rail will allow more players on different platforms to try the game out for themselves. If you sign up now, it doesn’t matter if you game on your PC, mobile phone, or both. HoYoverse (MiHoYo) is also trying out cross save, cross play, and cross progression for Honkai: Star Rail.
- If you are lucky enough to get into the final beta testing period, expect that you will answer surveys regarding player experience. You will also be asked about preferences on what you feel is missing from the game. Through this, HoYoverse (MiHoYo) will be able to improve Honkai: Star Rail before its official launch.
Official release date and platforms
After signing up for beta testing, gamers can start playing Honkai: Star Rail once testing begins on February 10, 2023. However, this does not mean that this is the final output of the game. The official release date for the game is yet to be announced, but there are talks of HoYoverse (MiHoYo) planning to release the game by March 2023.
If you have played in the previous beta tests, there are improvements made to Honkai: Star Rail. The devs have added a new area called Xianzhou Luofu. There are also new characters hailing from this area. Similar to Honkai Impact 3, Star Rail is being developed for both PC and mobile devices. As of writing, Genshin Impact is the company’s only IP available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
