After Heart Evangelista discussed her reconciliation with Marian Rivera in an interview, Dingdong Dantes’ wife finally speaks out about their rekindled friendship. In an interview with Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), GMA-7’s Prime Time Queen expressed she’s happy and at peace and calls their appeasement God’s perfect timing.
“Yung puso ko ay… ang naramdaman ko, talagang my heart is happy,” she said. “Tapos nandun ako sa peaceful… na finally, everything, alam mo yung God’s perfect time.”

“Parang sa Buhay natin ngayon, parang mas masarap na peaceful ka at masaya ka araw-araw, na wala kang iniiwasan,” she continued. “And sabi ko nga, mabuti talaga ang Diyos, ibibigyan niya talaga sa iyo yung makakabuti para sa iyo.”

Marian added that she and Heart have stayed in touch since their reconciliation. However, she chose not to detail the topic of their conversations and asked for privacy.
“Siguro kung anuman yung mga pinag-uusapan namin sa behind, siguro balato niyo na lang sa amin yun kasi it’s too personal for us,” she explained. “So, nakakatuwa na may mga conversation kami, na hanggang ngayon may communication kami. So, alam mo yun, God is good.”

In an interview with PhilStar, the socialite artist revealed that Marian is her sister’s colleague, and the two have been in touch for a while. She also claimed that she and the 39-year-old actress have several mutual friends.
“Hindi lang ako nagpapa-interview because I don’t want [it to be seen as] publicity. Something like that should be from the heart,” she said. “Marian, we’ve always liked each other, and it’s a true testament that queens should always support each other… Real queens support each other.”

Heart continued that her friendship with Marian has never been doubted, and others cause the issue about their rift.
“It’s really the people around us that make things bad…. Okay, kaming dalawa as individuals (We’re both okay),” she explained. “I really appreciate her. She has a very strong character. I really appreciate her kindness and her heart.”
Though Heart has no idea when she and Marian will have a chance to work together again after the 2011 comedy film Temptation Island, she stresses that what’s important is they’re both okay.

By the looks of it, all’s well for Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista. As they say, time heals all wounds, and that’s what probably happens between these two. They let bygones be bygone and have probably forgiven each other. The entertainment business is a small world anyway. They will surely cross each other’s paths, especially when they’re on the same network, and just like what Marian said, it’s better not to avoid anyone. Who knows?
