Red Table Talk will finally make its return, though it remains to be seen where after Meta shuts down Facebook Watch Originals programming. In an interview for her controversial memoir, Worthy, Will Smith’s wife revealed the show would make its dramatic comeback, and here’s everything you need to know.
Jada Pinkett Smith’s Red Table Talk Returns
Despite being canceled by Facebook Watch this year following a five-year stint on stream, Jada, her mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and daughter, Willow Smith, will return for another round of Red Table Talk. And this time, it will have a new home.
“We’re going to bring it back next year,” she told The Hollywood Reporter.
The timing even came perfect, as she was already done working on her memoir, admitting there was no way she could do the show and her book at the same time. Also, Willow has been on tour, introducing her music to the whole world, and a break from the show is something her child also needs.

Hence, despite being canceled, the downtime has been good for them. And though it pains them to see Facebook Watch go, they were thankful for its big help to their personal journeys.
Jada also promised that when Red Table Talk returns, she will dive into the different aspects of marriage after her massive revelations about her and Will’s union of 27 years. “I think it’s an important one,” she said.
The 52-year-old continued that many people are trying to figure out what would work for their dynamic, especially since everyone is unique. That said, she believed two different people coming together would form a special relationship.
Red Table Talk: Everything You Need to Know
According to Jada, Red Table Talk is still in its very early developments, so nothing is known about it yet. The actress-talk-show host just revealed they are now in talks to return the series, though its new platform is yet to be announced.
As she can’t talk things about it yet, she just hinted that they are planning for the show’s major comeback next year.
If this happens, many will surely be on the lookout for Red Table Talk. Why? With the many revelations Jada has made in her memoir, viewers may want to know more about it.
So Jada and Will Smith really played in our faces with this Red Table Talk. We’re thinking they were back together and happy whole time they both still separated. Great actors honestly! pic.twitter.com/3H2CKLnzHj

She has also promised to delve deeper into her and Will’s unique dynamic, and she may reveal more about their marriage either on the small screen or stream. And knowing how controversial Jada is, there may still be big revelations that fans should watch out for. Now, the big question is, where will it be seen?
Red Table Talk Cancellation
For starters, Facebook Watch canceled Red Table Talk earlier this year amid Meta’s cost-cutting move. The company’s rep confirmed the cancellation, though declined to give further comments about it.
But aside from the breakout hit talk show, none of the Facebook Originals, like SKAM Austin and Five Points, would return. The cancellation comes after news emerged that Meta laid off about 10,000 employees in its latest round of cuts.
However, Meta is reportedly focusing on creating virtual-reality experiences in Meta Horizon Worlds that can be accessed across its three platforms: Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger.

Knowing how Meta works, it doesn’t end something without starting a new thing. With its continuous expansion, there will always be a new offering for its patrons, and this may include this new virtual reality experience. Sure, several shows may have been canceled, but there is still a big chance for them to return, probably being picked up by a new streamer or another work.
Like Jada’s Red Table Talk, these canceled shows may also see the light of day.
