Unleashing the Anticipation: The Most Desired Characters in Mortal Kombat 1
Mortal Kombat is known for its iconic characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kitana, etc. With the legendary roster of characters it has offered over the years, fans have started speculating on several characters they expect to make a comeback in Mortal Kombat 1. Let’s look at some of these characters gamers hope to play and see in MK1.
Jade
For obvious reasons, every Mortal Kombat player has a liking for Jade. She has been one of the coolest female characters in the roster of several MK games. Last playable in the predecessor of Mortal Kombat 1, that is, Mortal Kombat 11, Jade isn’t a confirmed character in the roster of playable characters of MK1 yet. Many players love her combat style and the set of combos she offers, making her a favorite among fans. Fans are eagerly waiting again for Jade to be included in the main roster.
TanyaĀ
Next up, we have another female character on our list. Many players want Tanya to make a comeback in Mortal Kombat 1. This is because despite being such a powerful and fun-to-play character, she never made it to Mortal Kombat 11, except in perhaps some small cameos. Last playable in Mortal Kombat X, players eagerly anticipate her addition to the main roster of Mortal Kombat 1.
Nitara
Yet another female character. Nitara, a vampire, is liked by many due to her unique attacks that revolve around the use of blood and not soul or life energy. Not to mention her Fatality: Feast of Blood, where she bites the enemy’s neck violently and drains their blood, is also spectacular. She has a gothic appearance which explains why a lot of Mortal Kombat players want her to make a comeback in MK 1. Being last playable in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, players hope to see her make a return in Mortal Kombat 1.
Bo’ Rai Cho
Master of the drunken fist, Bo’ Rai Cho is loved by many Mortal Kombat players. Fat drunk uncle, as often described by many, is the trainer of Lui Kang, the protagonist of the Mortal Kombat lore. Bo’ Rai Cho’s kit has some of the most fun and interesting attacks. The man uses his drunken state to his advantage in battles. Last playable in Mortal Kombat X, players look forward to him joining the base roster of MK1.
Noob Saibot
Noob is the character that perhaps people are most excited about. Being playable in almost all major MK titles, gamers are surprised that NetherRealm Studios haven’t announced him in the roster of MK1 yet. If you’ve watched the Mortal Kombat 1 trailer, you’ll find small hints of Noob being in the game. Note that these are only speculations made by fans and not official. Everyone would love to see the dark Lin Kuei assassin make a comeback in the game.
Homelander Joins Mortal Kombat 1 as a Playable Character?
Yes, it ends with a question mark because this is an unofficial and unconfirmed leak. A lot of people are speculating that Mortal Kombat 1 will be having certain guest characters from the modern-day superhero world which includes Omni-Man from Invincible and Homelander from The Boys. According to the description of its contents, the upcoming Kombat Pack for MK1 will include these characters as an add-on. The pack will be available with the game’s premium and collector’s edition versions.
Homelander and Omni-Man will reportedly be playable characters in āMORTAL KOMBAT 1ā.

Over the years, we have seen Mortal Kombat have a diverse and entertaining lineup of guest characters, often drawing from comic books and action movies. In Mortal Kombat 11, players could control guest fighters such as John Rambo, RoboCop, and The Joker. Previous games also had playable characters like Kratos from God of War and Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. Therefore, it wouldn’t be surprising if Homelander or any other superhero made it to the guest roster of Mortal Kombat 1.
Conclusion
These were some of the highly anticipated characters that fans expect to make a comeback in Mortal Kombat 1. There are a lot more characters that players want to see making a comeback, which includes Onaga, Havik, Shujinko, and many more. However, it’s not possible to include all of them.
Therefore, we have only added the characters players are expecting the most. The only thing we can do right now is wait for NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. to make further announcements regarding the game. If you’re a fighting game enthusiast, check out Street Fighter 6, another exciting release coming this year.
