MTV VMAs 2023 Taylor Swift

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) was a celebration of some of the biggest stars in music, but the night undoubtedly belonged to pop sensation Taylor Swift. With a record-breaking nine wins, the Bad Blood singer indeed had an event to remember at the height of her fame. In fact, her magnetic presence at the VMAs has led fans on social media to come up with their own ‘Best Audience Award’ for Taylor Swift. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights from MTV VMAs 2023, including a complete list of all winners.

Taylor Swift’s historic night at MTV VMAs 2023

Entering the MTV VMAs 2023 with the most nominations, Taylor Swift came out as the biggest winner of the night. She is now the second-most awarded artist after Beyoncé, with 23 wins in total. She’s now tied for the most wins in a single night with Peter Gabriel

The iconic members of NSYNC reunited to present her with the Best Pop award in a surreal moment. She went on to win other awards for Anti-Hero, including Song of the Year, Best Direction, Video of the Year, Best VFX, and Album of the Year.

She thanked producer and close friend Jack Antonoff and dedicated her awards to her loyal fanbase. Apart from being a serial winner last night, Taylor Swift seemed to have a vibrant time at the ceremony, with clips of her dancing going viral.

As a result, Swifties made up their own award called the Best Audience Award and gave it to their idol on social media. In fact, some of the Moon Person awards, like the Video of the Year, are actually fan-voted, which made it even more special for her.
