Nintendo Switch Will Have A Disney Tsum Tsum Festival Themed Version
On the occasion of the launch of Disney Tsum Tsum Festival, a themed Nintendo Switch is coming only to Japan. Disney Tsum Tsum Festival is a forthcoming video game, presented at E3 2019, developed by BB Studio and Hyde and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the first console game based on the Disney Tsum Tsum toy line.
Expected to arrive on October 10 this year, it will be distributed in a bundle with a new themed version of Nintendo Switch, characterized by a particular color (purple and pink) and a series of symbols that recall the Tsum Tsum line. Obviously, in the bundle, a copy of Disney Tsum Tsum Festival and some DLC connected to it is also included.
The game itself is little known outside of Japan and for this reason, the new version will be sold only on Japanese territory for the price of 36,000 yen (or 330 dollars). Disney Tsum Tsum Festival is purely a party game in which the various Tsum Tsum must be connected together trying to create longer chains of the opponents, to get as many points as possible and win the game.
There are also some very special themed mini-games like Bubble Hockey, Curling, and Coin Dozer. The game offers the possibility to play both online and offline, offering players the chance to expand their Tsum Tsum collection.
Focusing on the design of the themed version of Nintendo Switch, we cannot fail to note the attention to detail and the peculiarity of the design, also with regard to the Dock, which appears to be adorned by the plump faces of the various Disney characters. Note also the nice addition of Mickey Mouse ears that pop up from the Joy-Con Home button.
According to the company, the Nintendo Switch included in the package will be the new model, with longer battery life, of which we had previously spoken.
