And among the 600 individuals on the list, the Stranger Things star made it, leading to a huge backlash on social media.

The list also includes singer-songwriter Steve Lacey, Kali Uchis, Peso Pluma, Noah Schnapp, Dominic Fike, Drew “Druski” Desbordes, and the playwright Jordan E. Cooper. Though no one reacts to the other people on the list, seeing Schnapp’s name leads to an instant backlash on social media.

According to Forbes, this list is put together by the outlet’s writers and editors and judged by the experts and previous winners, like the podcast creator and host Alex Cooper, the actress Ayo Edebiri, and the athlete Devin Booker.
These people evaluated over 11,000 candidates through different factors, like “funding, revenue, social impact, inventiveness, and potential.”
How did Noah Schnapp make it in the Forbes 30 Under 30 List?
With the recent controversies Noah Schnapp faces, from his post to address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict to the “Zionism is sexy” viral video, many are surprised to see his name in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
In his profile on the publication’s website, it noted that aside from his role in Netflix’s Stranger Things, he also has several accomplishments under his belt. The 19-year-old, who won The People’s Choice Award in 2022, has multiple business ventures, like the sustainably focused, protein-rich, hazelnut cocoa spread brand called TBH, which he founded. He also studied at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts/Science.

But despite these things, netizens can’t help but question his part on the list, especially knowing that he has no upcoming projects besides the fifth and final season of Stranger Things. The last movie he did this year was The Tutor, opposite Garrett Hedlund, while his other projects were dated as far back as 2020.
