PUBG Is Now Free-to-Play (Consoles and PC)
It’s finally here! Well, the day has arrived early. According to Krafton, users will be able to play PUBG: Battlegrounds for free beginning January 12 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. However, today, the seasoned battle royale can now be downloaded for free through Steam as well as the Spanish PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store.

If you’re one of the experienced gamers and possess the premium version of PUBG: Battlegrounds, you’re in for a treat: PUBG will send you a Special Commemoration Package if you acquired the game before it went free-to-play. The content of this pack is listed below:
- Automatic account upgrade to Battlegrounds Plus, a rank that gives you access to exclusive in-game features (available for $ 12.99)
- Battle-Hardened Equipment Skin Set
- The pan Shackle and Shanks Legacy Pan
- Special Identification Plate
Battlegrounds Plus is basically an optional upgrade that grants access to special features in exchange for a one-time payment of $ 12.99. The following are some of the features it provides:
- 1300 G-COIN Bonus
- Survival Master Experience + 100% Increase
- Medals Tab
- Classified Mode
- Custom Game Functionality
- Camouflage Outfit
