The Witcher 3 Sold More Copies On PC Than All Console Platforms Combined in 2019
CD Projekt Red’s financial charts just dropped in, and it’s clear that The Witcher 3 sold more copies on PC than all other consoles combined in 2019.
Chart 18 from the presentation shows that in 2019, a whopping 53% of The Witcher 3’s total sales were for PC, while 26% were for the PlayStation 4, 10% for Xbox One and 11% for the Switch.

Along with that, The Witcher 3 has sold over 28 million copies worldwide, physical and digital combined. In 2019, 82% of the sales were digital.
Surprisingly, in 2015, PlayStation 4 dominated the sales chart with 48% of total copies being sold for the console. It went down to 42% in 2016, and since 2017, PC has been dominating The Witcher 3 sales charts.
