With the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the crown was immediately passed down to her eldest child Charles. This is to abide by the constitutional monarchy system of the United Kingdom. Therefore, Charles is now the new King. He chose to be called the title of King Charles III according to Liz Truss, the new Prime Minister.
The formal ceremony for Charles’ accession is said to be happening this September 10, Saturday. It is going to take place in St. James’s Palace in London where the Accession Council meetings happen. There are going to be a hundred or fewer authorized attendees in the formal ceremony of proclaiming Charles as the King.
In case people are wondering the formal ceremony happening tomorrow is different from the actual coronation. The formal ceremony is the proclamation of Charles as the King. While the coronation is the crowning day of King Charles III. Therefore, the question going around now is when is the coronation day?
UPDATE: King Charles III, the oldest child, will be officially crowned at the coronation ceremony on September 10, 2022.

Even if his formal proclamation is tomorrow, the coronation day is not likely to happen anytime soon. The crowning of the new monarch also takes a lot of preparation since it is a symbolic and momentous event in the monarchy. Considering it is going to be part of the history books forever.
On the coronation day of Queen Elizabeth, it took her more than a year to be crowned. Her accession was on February 6, 1952, and her coronation day happened on June 2, 1953.
