The newest YG Entertainment girl group may just start their idol career this November, but indeed, they have already earned a fanbase. Among the seven debuting members, Ahyeon has been known as the BLACKPINK Jennie lookalike, ever since she was a trainee.

After BLACKPINK, this would be the first time in seven years that the agency will be introducing another girl group in the industry.
- From supposedly five members, it ran up to seven, consisting of three South Koreans, Ahyeon, Haram, Rora, two Japanese, Ruka and Asa, and two Thai members, Pharita and Chiquita.
Aside from looking like Jennie Kim, Ahyeon isn’t just a pretty face. She has a lot of potential, especially with her strong vocals. She can belt high notes and we love her voice control, specifically with her Dangerously song cover. Not just that, her rapping and dancing are something to look forward to, too. - YG also gave a statement and confirmed Ahyeon’s departure from the group. According to a translated statement from Soompi, it was decided that the member would be sitting out the debut due to her health reasons. “Although we are saddened to be unable to introduce Ahyeon as a member of BABYMONSTER, we made this decision for the sake of the artist’s health,” YG Entertainment added.
For those waiting for Ahyeon’s debut, it’s unfortunate that this happened when it’s only a few steps away from her idol dreams. It’s still unknown when she’ll debut with BABYMONSTER.

BABYMONSTER already took the fastest girl group to reach two million subscribers on YouTube, way back in 2022.
