Zaiyuki will be a unique anime in that it will not be based on a manga or light novel source. While it is uncommon for anime originals to not have a corresponding manga adaptation, it is not unheard of.

The studio responsible for the upcoming Zaiyuki Anime appears to be relatively new. Village Studio is a fledgling company that has only produced a single One Punch Man special episode titled Go! Saitama. In this episode, Saitama discovers a one-yen sale for high-quality hot pot meat, but the sale ends at 5 p.m. that day, leading to a hilarious adventure.

Based on this information, it seems likely that Village Studio will be supervised by Yusuke Murata’s team of talented artists. However, this is merely speculation at this point.
