Is Honkai Star Rail available on PS4/PS5?
Released earlier today, Honkai Star Rail, the brainchild of the same developers behind the famous Genshin Impact, has already made its way to mobile and PC. However, fans of the genre are wondering if the game will be available on other platforms (i.e. PlayStation). In this article, we will be discussing if Honkai Star Rail is available on PS4 and PS5.
What is Honkai Star Rail?
The Chinese video game development company called miHoYo made another title to look forward to for gacha games fans. miHoYo also made the most popular gacha game today, Genshin Impact.

Initially announced in 2021, Honkai Star Rail is another free-to-play 3D turn-based role-playing game conceived by the HoYoverse. It’s slated to be released on April 26, 2023, and the anticipation is very high. In addition, Honkai Star Rail will be the 4th installment in the Honkai series which features new and old characters from Honkai Impact 3rd. Nonetheless, fans are extremely eager to play this game and create another huge fanbase for miHoYo’s latest project. To add, even before the game came out, it has already amassed more than 10 million registered users.
Can you play Honkai Star Rail on PS4/PS5?
When Honkai Star Rail launches, it will only be available on PC and mobile (both Android and iOs). You can download it either on App Store or the Google Play Store for mobile and through Epic Games for PC. However, fans are also wondering if it will be playable on PlayStation consoles.
Thankfully, it was confirmed that Honkai Star Rail will be on PS4 and PS5 in the future. Although that’s already affirmative, a release date is not yet shared by miHoYo.
There is no timetable for its possible release yet. Nobody knows for sure whether it would take weeks, months, or even years. As frustrating as it sounds, Honkai Star Rail will most definitely come at a later time on PlayStation. However, HoYoverse has already revealed gameplay footage of how Honkai Star Rail would look on PS5. That means that PlayStation users may enjoy the game soon.
As of the moment, it would be great if you play Honkai Star Rail on PC or mobile. Similar to Genshin Impact, it has been known that the title will be applying cross-progression, which means, you can use the same account on different platforms.
