Helldivers 2: Change Difficulty Settings
Defending Super Earth in Helldivers 2 requires strategic choices beyond simply blasting alien threats. Before venturing on your mission, consider the nine available difficulty levels, each offering unique challenges and rewards.
Helldivers 2 – Difficulty Levels
Your journey begins with “Trivial,” where enemies are scarce and missions are a breeze. Consider this your training ground, a chance to familiarize yourself with the game’s mechanics and controls. Complete a mission here, and the “Easy” difficulty unlocks, allowing you to face slightly more challenging foes.
- Trivial
- Easy
- Medium
- Challenging
- Hard
- Extreme
- Suicide Mission
- Impossible
- Helldive
Change Settings
On your ship, access the Galactic War, the central hub for planning your operations. Remember, this choice applies only to the upcoming mission, so choose wisely based on your current squad composition and tactical preferences.
Important Notes:
- Prepare to take a series of objectives within a Mission at harder difficulties. These chained missions offer less overall time to complete.
- The higher the difficulty the better the rewards.
- Higher difficulty means more outposts and harder enemies.
