Kim’s custom-made dress by Schiaparelli featured pearl strings draped around her body, accentuating her hourglass figure. The flesh-colored corset cinched around her waist added to the stunning design. The outfit, designed by Daniel Roseberry, was crafted with over 50,000 freshwater pearls and 16,000 crystal pearls, taking a dozen artisans over 1,000 hours to create.
While talking about the inspiration behind the dress, Kim told Vogue:
“I wanted pearls. I thought, ‘What is more Karl?’ You know, the iconic Chanel pearls is what I always thought of. So we wanted to just be dripping in pearls.”

Meanwhile, Kendall arrived at the ball wearing a black Marc Jacobs bodysuit adorned with sequins. The outfit featured extra-long sleeves with white quilted lining, which trailed behind the model like a split cape. Kendall completed her look with a pair of grunge platform boots, a high ponytail, and earrings by Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry.
Kylie stepped into the Metropolitan Museum of Art wearing a custom-made Jean Paul Gaultier gown. The red hot number had an asymmetrical neckline, a thigh-high slit, and a train that could turn into a cozy robe. The mother of two wore red heels and diamond earrings to complete her look.

People believed that Kim Kardashian and her family were banned from attending the Met Gala due to the outfit she wore last year. Kim wore the iconic ‘nude’ dress that Marilyn Monroe wore 60 years ago to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy.
